What is a Taize Service like?

At PCC Taize prayer is about 30-45 minutes long and usually consists of open prayer, silent prayer and chants in the Taize style.

During open prayer you are encouraged to pray aloud with others freely, in whatever way you wish. Silent prayer is about 5 minutes of silence where you may reflect or bring your concerns to God in a moment of quiet. Taize services take place once a month in the evening and you can find us gathered at the front of the church.
